The new Summer menu is now on offer at London's oldest garden centre Clifton Nurseries - The Clifton Kitchen now offers wonderful weekend lunches and is licensed. So you don't need a garden to visit the Clifton Cafe - it's a great place to meet up with friends and family.
In addition to the brunch menu including eggs Benedict, eggs Florentine or favourites such as a robust bacon sarnie, there is also a Prosecco Breakfast (£12.50) of scrambled eggs, smoked salmon and a glass of chilled Prosecco.

Weekend lunch specials include a lavish crayfish salad or a mozzarella and roast tomato tart; lunch specials change regularly according to what is in season and the available ingredients. With a full alcohol license the tranquil setting of the Clifton Kitchen is also a very special place to simply enjoy a glass of Pimms (£3.50), Prosecco (£6.00) or selection of house red and white wines (£3.50 per glass). A bottle of Moutard Grand Cuvee champagne is £30.00 per bottle. Traditional tea and with sandwiches, scones, cream and jam costs (£7.50) or choose from the selection of home-made cakes including beetroot cake, lavender cake or some very, very rich chocolate brownies.

There are also savoury herb scones available, made with thyme, rosemary and spring onion or red pepper (or you can buy a whole cake to take away - 24 hours notice required). The Clifton Kitchen is ideal for families and all the dishes come in smaller portion sizes. The outside area is under cover and seats 28 (inside up to 15). So whether or not you have a garden in London, you can enjoy the tastes, scents and sights of summer al freso at Clifton Nurseries.
